**NADIE ES INOCENTE** is a hybrid fictionalized documentary of the youth gang Mierdas Punks, who play themselves. It follows reformed punk “Kara” as he takes the train from Ciudad Neza back to the main city to leave his former life behind. Shot on Betacam over a few years, and incorporating and repurposing 16mm concert footage from Minter’s collaboration with Gregorio Rocha SABADO DE MIERDA, the film is both a document of and dramatized collaboration with Minter’s subjects. **ALMA PUNK** shares some similarity with the former, partially improvised and using non-actors, this time exploring the ins-and-outs of Mexico City’s punk scene. Following a young riot grrl as she moves north to Tijuana and eventually towards the United States.
