LACMA, Los Angeles
Connect with nature on LACMA’s campus while honing your observational drawing skills. Incorporating some plant science into our drawing practice, we’ll examine botany-inspired work in the exhibitions [*Deep Cuts: Block Printing Across Cultures*](https://www.lacma.org/art/exhibition/deep-cuts-block-printing-across-cultures) and [*Collecting Impressionism at LACMA*](https://www.lacma.org/art/exhibition/collecting-impressionism-lacma) and explore how botanical drawing can shift from highly representational illustrations to patterns and more abstract forms. All drawing levels are welcome. Taught by Stacey Vigallon. **This program takes place outdoors on LACMA's campus on Saturday, March 28. Parking validation and supplies are provided. Please note parking validations are only valid for the Pritzker Parking Garage on 6th Street.** *Full refunds will only be granted if the art class is canceled by LACMA. Please notify us immediately if a student is unable to attend so that another student on our waiting list can attend class. A refund equal to half of tuition paid will be granted for cancellations made three weeks before class start date. No refunds for cancellations made less than three weeks prior to class start date.*
