![Feminist Book Club Launch: Reading as a Political Act](/sites/skylightbooks.com/files/illustration2.png) Our Feminist Book Club is a space to read boldly, think critically, and build community through stories that challenge power and expand possibility. We’re kicking off the year with Reservoir Bitches by Dahlia de la Cerda, a raw and unflinching collection of short stories centered on women navigating survival, violence, and resistance under failed systems. Set in Mexico and told through sharp, unapologetic voices, Reservoir Bitches confronts class inequality, patriarchy, and state violence while centering women who are constantly pushed to the margins. Together, we’ll discuss how feminist literature helps us better understand the world we’re living in and imagine the one we’re fighting to create. If you haven’t read the book, you are more than welcome to still join and learn about our goals and mission for the Feminist Book Club for 2026! Join our book club and read books that are being censored and support the incredible Feminist Press publishing. This book club is in collaboration with Reprouncensored and Feminist Press.
