Born in Tokyo and classically trained from the age of two, Ayaka has spent her life weaving through a spectrum of genres — from jazz and funk to cinematic world music — developing a sound that is both technically masterful and deeply intuitive. Gifted with synesthesia, Ayaka experiences music as color, emotion, and movement, allowing her to translate energy and presence into evocative, soul-stirring soundscapes in real time. Her performances are immersive and improvisational —uniquely alive in each moment, shaped by the mood of the room, the stories shared, and the silent truths unspoken. Ayaka has created multimedia experiences across the world that explore nature, memory, and the unseen realms through sound and visual storytelling.
