Bob Baker Marionette Theater, Los Angeles

Doors: 6 PM / Show: 7 PM **Boopoopadoop!** On Saturday, February 14, Saturday Morning Cartoons United is hosting a special, one-night-only Valentine's Day charity event at the Bob Baker Marionette Theater, celebrating Betty Boop’s timeless charm — all for a good cause. The evening will be a playful mix of Saturday-morning nostalgia, romance, and fun, complete with a pop-up shop, puppet show, interactive moments, and a panel discussion with animation luminaries.   When doors open at 6:00 PM, guests can shop exclusive Betty Boop collections by Whatever!, Overlord Caps, and Rockin Pins before the screening begins at 7:00 PM.  Following the screening, the panel features Jane Fleischer, Claire Fleischer, and Emmy-winning art director/producer Alex Kirwan, alongside special surprise guests. The event combines laughter, love, and a dash of Betty Boop magic, while raising funds for fire relief support for animation professionals and supporting Saturday Morning Cartoons United™, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to celebrating legacy animation and uplifting the creative arts community. Children ages 2 and under who will be sitting on a lap are FREE and do not need their own ticket!  Ticketing is general admission for theater seats and floor seats with cushions. We recommend arriving at BBMT when doors open to reserve a theater seat.  All guests must be at least 16 years of age or have a parent or guardian present.
