**Black Pontiac** is a band born out of tension. Emerging from an underground DIY community they helped reshape in the wake of the pandemic, the Vancouver, BC quartet has been walking a careful line ever since; balancing grit, glam, garage rock edge and indie-pop hooks. Drawing from acts such as Cage the Elephant and The Clash, their sound thrives in the push and pull, and with an energetic live show, an enthusiastic cult following, over 10 millions streams on Spotify, as well as several tours, festival appearances, and support slots for acts like lovelytheband and Peach Pit under their belt, the band is poised to turn up the tension even higher with a new project coming June 2026: A Danger to Himself and Others, their 2nd full length LP. **DXCKLIN** is the musical persona of 24-year-old Grant Dacklin, a self-taught producer and songwriter originally from the scenic terrain of Utah. Through years of training in dance and urban choreography, DXCKLIN developed a kinetic understanding of rhythm and flow, skills that would later shape his distinctive musical voice. He crafts a genre-defying blend of folk and post-rock, drawing from a vast emotional palette and a restless desire to express something real. His sound is as introspective as it is expansive, often built around layered textures and organic instrumentation.
