Adapted from Joseph’s renowned video art installation, the film draws inspiration from a range of cultural and artistic touchstones: *BLKNWS* itself, the improvisational brilliance of *Kind of Blue*, the late works of Jean-Luc Godard, and the critical fabulations of Saidiya Hartman.
