Scribble, Los Angeles

A Community Acupuncture Experience with Live Plant Biofeedback Music , brought to you by Andrew Barretto, L.Ac, DATM Throughout the event, we’ll listen as the subtle electrical activity of a living plant shapes an evolving musical landscape inspired by the Five Elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Held just two days before the Autumn Equinox, this gathering takes place at a turning point in Nature. In Taoism, Autumn is when Yin begins to overtake Yang and the world moves toward stillness, turning inward, and letting go. In Chinese Medicine, Autumn belongs to the Metal Element and is associated with the Lungs, breath, grief, and our capacity to release. Receive a 30-minute community acupuncture treatment as the music unfolds around you. Slow down, turn inward, and tune in to the rhythms of the natural world. No previous experience with acupuncture or meditation is necessary. Time : 2:00–4:00 PM (30-minute treatments with reserved arrival times) Sliding Scale : $35–55 Community — $35 Sustaining — $45 Supporting — $55 Your generosity at the Sustaining and Supporting levels helps make this experience accessible to others in our community.
