This event brings together citizens, technologists, and artists, to stand for democracy, protect civil liberties online, and reject unchecked surveillance in an era of increasing consolidation. LEGACY IN ACTION DSC Founder Everett Kelsey, grandson of theologian Dr. George D. Kelsey — mentor to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., continues a legacy of moral courage and civil rights through today’s struggle for digital self-determination.
