Join us for the LA premiere of DRIFTS, a new short film by filmmaker and composer PETER COCCOMA. The evening will feature a live performance by the film’s composer ELORI SAXL playing a set of all new music inspired by the film score. Opening performance by ENHANCEMENT, a project of composer and producer BEN BABBITT. ∆ Set between Acadia National Park and NYC, this subtle film traces the impact of a father and son’s chance encounter on a camping trip with a photographer struggling with midlife ennui. Featuring a deeply interior lead performance by Erin Neufer (Netflix’s Sirens, Showtime’s Fellow Travelers, HBO’s Julia) an otherworldly score by experimental composer Elori Saxl, and evocative cinematography by Taylor McIntosh, DRIFTS is a uniquely transportive cinematic experience about our search for presence in a culture that is pulling us everywhere else.
