Taking place over the course of one restless Paris night, Malle’s richly atmospheric crime thriller stars Moreau and Maurice Ronet as lovers whose plan to murder her husband (his boss) goes awry, setting off a chain of events that seals their fate. A career touchstone for its director and female star, *Elevator to the Gallows* was an astonishing beginning to Malle’s eclectic body of work, and it established Moreau as one of the most captivating actors ever to grace the screen. **Sehn-Ra Chestnut-Brooks** is a professional trumpet player based in the Los Angeles area. He was raised in Inglewood, and he covers all genres of music from Classical, to jazz, to funk. Sehn-Ra has had the honor of performing with MC Hammer in the staples center in 2017 performing with Kelly Rowland at the *Ellen* show and being in her “Black Magic” music Video. As well as performing with ICYOLA in the Walt Disney Concert hall from the summers of 2013-2025 And in Carnegie Hall in 2016 and 2024.
