Madly in love and partially insane,I fell for a glimmer, a gesture, a vanishing trace.I had been struck by the moon.For over 25 years, Mona Kuhn has used photography to re-examine the human form and its place in visual culture. Acclaimed for her contemporary and intimate depictions of the nude, Kuhn takes on a new direction into abstraction in her latest works Moonstruck, a series of painterly impressions inspired by musical improvisations. Mona Kuhn’s increase use of techniques appears to merge the figure, abstractions and landscape into one.
