Scribble, Los Angeles
Film girlz brunch is a community for femme folks in the film industry in Los Angeles✨ Reach out to filmgirlzbrunch@gmail.com with any questions :) 2-4pm $20 tickets available here . About the Event: The best way to learn is by doing! Sit in the room with 2 Producers as they create a shooting schedule and a call sheet for a short film. In this session, we will breakdown how to schedule scenes, understand the days work and call times for cast and crew. This is perfect for people who are making their first project or need a refresher. This is your chance to hear the questions and discussions Producers have when making schedules to make sure they make their day in an effective and healthy way. Participants will watch as Producers work live, allowing participants to ask questions throughout the process to better understand the reasoning for decisions. The first hour will be scheduling and the second hour will be building a call sheet. Participants will have access to documents and leave with the knowledge and paperwork needed to schedule their own shoots. Please come ready to take notes, ask questions and speak up! This is your time to sit in the room, hear the conversation and join in on the fun of producing a shoot! Do you have a script (less than 10 pages) that you want us to schedule? We are looking for a script to breakdown, schedule and make a call sheet for this session. If you have something you’re willing to share with the group, Kaiulani & Daniel will use it for the demonstration! Please email us directly to discuss further. We are accepting scripts till Friday Oct 9, 5pm (pst) : kaiulani@midnightlanternproductions, daniel@midnightlanternproductions.com _____________________________ BIOS KAIULANI BUSH Kaiulani’s (Ky-you-lawn-ee) career spans across news, reality, sports and narrative.
