Now Instant Image Hall, Los Angeles

Pulling from the Getty Research Institute’s vast archive of video art, the GRI and Now Instant have co-curated a one night screening, marking the second anniversary of the theater’s Chinatown theater, and highlighting the landscape of Los Angeles video art. This screening will focus on works from  the Long Beach Museum of Video Art archives, acquired by the GRI in 2006; as well as films featured in the landmark 2008 Getty exhibition, *California Video*, the first comprehensive survey of the history of video art in California. This program will be introduced by GRI curator Glenn Phillips, curator of *California Video* and the acquisition manager of the Long Beach Museum of Video Art archive. The runtime will be approximately 75 minutes and will show twice, consecutively. ***Please note: seating is limited. Doors open thirty minutes prior to the listed showtime. Your RSVP does not guarantee you a seat. Seating is first-come, first-served.***
