**Ginger Molasses** is a five-piece rock band formed in 2023 in the Sierra Nevada Foothills town of Nevada City, California. They draw on elements of soul, funk, and southern rock to craft their unique sound. At the helm is front-woman Tawnee Kendall, whose Nashville-tinged vocals and energetic performances supercharge the band’s live shows. An alumna of Berkeley High School, Cal State Northridge and New England Conservatory, Mariel is the 2018 recipient of the ASCAP Phoebe Jacobs Young Jazz Composer Award. She has played on American Idol, The Voice and Noches Con Platanito. She has also played with Karol G, BBNO$, Andy Grammer and Oingo Boingo Former Members. Red Rabbit & The Burrows has a jazz foundation with strong rock & roll influence.
