Highwire is a really special film Barry did with @sandisissel about @philippepetit\_manonwire // @therealphilippepetit, the incredibly talented and congenial man who walked between the twin towers of NYC. This is a film about Philippe and another one of his NYC skywalks in the early 80s, to cathedral Saint John the Divine, beautifully remastered by @Cinelabboston, featuring music by @philipglass — this is the little film that really started Barry's career as an editor. He is thrilled to share it with you at Zebulon. Barry will then read from the first installment in his debut fantasy trilogy, WIND. In the words of Scott Olsen from Manhattan Book review, WIND is “ an immersive, genre-blending tale of post-apocalyptic mythology, tribal legacy, and fantastical reinvention that carves out a unique place in the canon of epic fantasy. It’s part origin myth, part ecological fable, and part political allegory, told in a lyrical, hypnotic style that reads like oral storytelling passed down through the generations.” **Barry Alexander Brown** is an Oscar-nominated filmmaker, editor, and writer. Known for his longtime collaboration with Spike Lee, Barry has edited acclaimed films like Do the Right Thing and BlacKkKlansman. He recently debuted his first novel, Wind, and shares his time between New York City and Provence. *Attention LA!
