Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM

18th Street Arts Center, Santa Monica

**Wednesday, February 11th | 11 AM -12 PM** **Locations TBA along Broadway, Santa Monica** **Free + Open to the Public** Step into the stories and history of Santa Monica’s Historic Broadway neighborhood with the Quinn Research Center’s walking tours. Each month, we explore a new theme drawn from the everyday beauty and neighborhood stories that define this vibrant stretch of the city. From the character of its lamps and plantings to the architecture of its homes and the layered histories they hold, these tours will illuminate the small details that shape community memory. Bill and Carolyne Edwards, co-founders of the Quinn Research Center (QRC), will be the guides for each walking tour. They will share stories of resilience, displacement, and community related to the month's theme that highlight the lived experiences of those who called this place home. This walk is part of a broader effort to uplift community memory and honor the people and places that continue to shape Santa Monica’s cultural landscape. Let’s walk, listen, and remember—together. Please wear comfortable shoes, sunscreen, and hats are recommended. All are welcome. **Quinn Research Center Bio** The QRC is an archive and educational resource that promotes the study and research of Black family history and culture in the Santa Monica Bay Area, and a place of inspiration and empowerment for future generations. **Learn More about the QRC Here** **Do you know Broadway PDF**
