Join us EVERY SUNDAY for a rotating selection of the best in LA's Jazz Music scene, and stay late for our Sunday residency with Kevin Kanner's Jazz Jam. Musicians who want to jam get in free with an instrument after 9pm (one drink minimum). This Sunday! Jonathan Karrant vocals, Josh Childs piano, Mike Gurrola bass & Kevin Kanner drums. Jonathan Karrant's album, On and On, hit No. 4 on the Billboard Jazz charts and his album Live hit No. 2 on the iTunes Jazz Charts. He has recorded with such notable artists as Diane Schuur and Jane Monheit. Karrant has received honors throughout the United States including: the New York City Cabaret Jazz Honors, “Best Singer” by the Bravo California Awards and was named one of the Top 10 Rising Jazz Vocalists by Downbeat. Karrant doesn’t cover songs, he uncovers them. Jazz Corner Karrant’s most recent album features Joe Alterman, Mike Gurrola and Kevin Kanner. It was recorded live at one of America’s top 10 performing arts centers, The Smith Center. On September 28th, they will be performing some selections from the new record.
