Jessika Kenney, Eyvind Kang, Charmaine Lee, and Yan Jun join forces for an evening of immersive, site-responsive performance. Moving through 2220 Arts + Archives' reflective architecture, the quartet will weave voice, strings, and electronics into shifting constellations of sound, ritual, and spatial play. The result: an intimate and unpredictable exploration of resonance, proximity, and shared intention. ∆ **Jessika Kenney** is a vocalist, composer, writer, sound artist, and teacher whose commitments to improvisation, poetry, and aural study have yielded a unique perspective. Their explorations of tone, space, and the metaphysics of sound have been featured in many contexts and venues including the Seattle Public Library, Nottingham Contemporary, and the Benton Museum. Collaborators and projects include a lengthy discography with Eyvind Kang, the final recorded vocal work of Alvin Lucier, performances with Melati Suryodarmo, composing the vocal music of A24’s Midsommar, and choral direction on SUNN O)))’s Monoliths and Dimensions. ~ **Eyvind Kang** is a composer and violist whose work spans experimental, classical, and traditional music forms. His collaborations include Jessika Kenney, Bill Frisell, Laurie Anderson, Bennie Maupin, Stuart Dempster, Sun City Girls, SUNN O))), among others. Known for his explorations of microtonality, modal improvisation, and sonic ritual, Kang’s work has been presented at leading festivals and venues worldwide. ~ **Charmaine Lee** is a vocalist and label founder whose practice is rooted in improvisation, extended vocal techniques, and the physicality of sound. Her work, often integrating feedback, amplification, and electronics, traverses the boundaries between the intimate and the extreme. She is the founder of Kou Records, an independent label dedicated to artists with singular musical languages. Lee has performed at venues including ISSUE Project Room, The Kitchen, and Lincoln Center, and has collaborated with artists such as Ikue Mori, Conrad Tao, and Eric Wubbels. ~ **Yan Jun** is a Beijing-based sound artist, improviser, and poet whose work transforms listening into an embodied, often unpredictable encounter. Performing in venues ranging from concert halls to private bedrooms, he draws on feedback, electronics, voice, and found sound to blur the line between performer and audience. His projects have been presented internationally, and collaborations include work with musicians such as Otomo Yoshihide, Axel Dörner, and Hsia Yu.
