Gold—Diggers, Los Angeles

**JOATA** is a Los Angeles based Puerto Rican rock project led by José Oyola, known for raw intensity, direct songwriting, and bilingual lyrics addressing themes of love, displacement, identity, and diaspora. Drawing from rock, hip hop, and Caribbean rhythm, the music emphasizes tension and physical energy. JOATA’s new album Que Paso introduces a grittier and more honest rock sound than previous releases. **Making Movies** Enrique Chi is the leader of the Latin Grammy-nominated band Making Moves, crafting psychedelic rock n roll rooted in the rich rhythmic traditions of Panamá. Rolling Stone describes the band as "an eclectic blend of rumbero percussion, delicate organs, and grungy fuzz rock". Chi's performances always feature the mejorana, a rare Panamanian folkloric instrument made by only five remaining luthiers worldwide, both preserving its cultural lineage and ushering it into new sonic territory. NPR calls Making Moves "perhaps one of the most unique groups around today-- sensual, smoky, and seductive." **Unsound Sunday** is an indie-alternative, experimental band from IE/LA made up of Cezzartt on lead vocals, keys, and lead guitar, Josh Brantner on backup vocals and drums, and legendary WAR percussionist Sal Rodriguez on percussion and backup vocals, delivering a cinematic blend of atmospheric rock, punk, soulful vocals, and groove-driven percussion that creates a sound both modern and timeless.
