Spend some time in the open air this holiday season browsing and shopping for unique, handcrafted goods by local and out-of-town Indigenous makers, participate in hands-on family activities while DJs spin, and get a FREE poster! Modeled after flea markets that can be found on many reservations, the biannual **LA NDN Flea — A Native Market** features everything from recycled clothing to handcrafted jewelry, original art, and much more. Also on hand will be nonprofit organizations and resource groups providing community support and information. And don’t forget to pick up your FREE, limited-run poster featuring powerful and vibrant artwork by Broad collection artist, [**Jeffrey Gibson**](https://www.thebroad.org/art/jeffrey-gibson) (Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians and Cherokee). Visitors can connect with local Indigenous groups, dance to curated DJ sets by **deesco **(Teme-Augama Anishnabai), enjoy food vendors, and participate in a family-friendly hands-on activity that celebrates the vibrant intersection of Los Angeles’s cultural heritage and natural environment with a custom board game designed and developed by artist, musician, researcher, and educator, **Lazaro Arvizu Jr. **(Gabrielino/Tongva). **LA NDN Flea — A Native Market **is organized by **The Chapter House**, a space for Indigenous art, empowerment, and community. The Broad is proud to call The Chapter House a community partner. Together, we’ve hosted events and artmaking workshops that connect kids and families from across our shared communities. Vendor list to be announced soon. PLUS! After a day supporting Indigenous artists and artisans, spend your evening with a bellyful of laughs at [**Sage-Based Wisdom** **LIVE**](https://www.thebroad.org/events/sage-based-wisdom-live), a comedic offering of Native wisdom with hosts **Jana Schmieding** (Lakota) and **Brian Bahe** (Tohono O’odham, Hopi, Navajo), and **Xiuhtezcatl**, the quick-witted 21-year-old rapper with Mexica roots. **Sage-Based Wisdom LIVE** is separately ticketed, and space is limited.
