### **ABOUT THE FESTIVAL:** Presented by Topcat Management and co-presented by sogbots and the American Cinematheque, LA’s Rich and Successful Film Festival (RSFF) is the fourth annual curated presentation of short films from the next generation of filmmakers. RSFF is a non-competitive space by and for LA-based filmmakers to introduce their work to new audiences, connect with industry mainstays, and shake hands with future collaborators. The lineup includes 13 short films across genres, all helmed by LA-based filmmakers. This year’s festival is curated by a unique jury comprising alumni filmmakers, junior executives, and seasoned programmers. The jury includes Festival Directors Page Brady, Nir Liebenthal, Noah Morse, Jeremy Roth-Rose, Dylan Trupiano, Filmmaker and RSFF alum Neal Suresh Mulani, Cool Girl Cinema Club founder and animation artist Sydney Mills, Director of Film & TV Development at SunHaus Saba Kinfe, Playgrounds Creative Executive Rachel Goldfinger, Producer and Executive Brett Robinson, and Imani Davis on behalf of the American Cinematheque. ### **ABOUT THE FILMS:** **“Ben’s Sister,” 2025, Dir. Emma Weinswig, 18 Mins** A charismatic fuckboy must wrestle with his own toxic masculine tendencies when his Freshman sister becomes a pawn in his friend’s scheme to win their high school scavenger hunt. Brad Roelandt, 11 Mins** Captured in a single aerial take, Clev’s impulsive marriage proposal at a McDonald’s drive-thru is interrupted by a relentlessly upbeat customer.
