Built around modular synthesis and drum machines, the show expands beyond song form, reworking and sampling material from across his catalogue into a rhythm-led live performance. Over the past few years, James has built a reputation as one of the UK’s most distinctive voices in electronic music, selling out the Barbican and Village Underground in London with statement shows across Europe. His releases have been named Best New Music by Pitchfork and KCRW, with support from Gilles Peterson, Mary Anne Hobbs and airplay across BBC 6 Music and NTS.
