Highlights include the rarely heard reconstructed Organ and Violin Concerto, featuring Assistant Concertmaster **Tereza** **Stanislav**, as well as the fiery “Grosso Mughal,” one of Vivaldi’s most virtuosic violin concertos, performed by LACO Concertmaster **Margaret** **Batjer**. Violinist **Rachel** **Barton** **Pine** joins for two rare Viola d’amore concertos, performed on an instrument whose sympathetic strings create a haunting, resonant sound unlike anything else in the classical world. Works by fellow Venetians **Albinoni** and **Galuppi** complete the program, revealing the elegance, charm, and expressive breadth of 18th-century Venice.
