A night of expanded sight + sound including live scoring, multi-projector performances and collaborative synaesthesia in advance of the spooky season. Filmmaker **Martha Colburn** (MoMA, Rotterdam, Sundance) fuses her phantasmagoric projections with the daring live performances of musicians **Erica Dawn Lyle**, **Sarah Register + Elaine Carey**, and **Oort Smog**, creating an immersive, shape-shifting dialogue between vision and sound. ∆ **Erica Dawn Lyle :** New York-based punk icon, writer, and activist, Lyle has spent decades cultivating a radical, multifaceted solo practice spanning zines, direct action, and blistering guitar improvisation. Currently on tour in support of her first vinyl solo LP, ON FIRE, (Belltower/Feeding Tube) she continues to expand the boundaries of sound and performance. Her role in Bikini Kill adds context, but it is her solo artistry that reveals the full breadth of her distinctive sonic style. Lyle will be paired with Martha Colburn's multi-projection opus Western Wild — a torrent of layered images that reframes Americana through Colburn's unmistakable lens. **Sarah Register + Elaine Carey** : More recently famed for her guitar work with Kim Gordon, Sarah Register has long been a force in the global experimental scene — a mastering engineer and player with deep roots in the underground, whose recent solo releases also prove her knack for pop hooks. Here she performs with LA-based multidisciplinary artist Elaine Carey (Telecaves, Rogue Squares), weaving charged guitar textures with analog atmospheres. Colburn will frame their set with single-channel film works — sure to be hallucinatory. **Oort Smog** : The sax-and-drums duo of Patrick Shiroishi and Mark Kimbrell thrives in the liminal space between prog, noise, and punk.
