Featuring an ensemble of celebrated local musicians—Charlotte Miller (vocals), Jackie Mendoza (saxophone, vocals, electric ukulele), Cara Potiker (bass), and Laura Gonzales (guitar)—the group channels the ethereal textures and surrealist soundscapes of the original band while adding their own shimmering edge. At the heart of the project is Charlotte’s voice, which bears an uncanny resemblance to Elizabeth Fraser’s haunting vocal style—otherworldly, emotive, and at times indistinguishable from the source. With layered instrumentation that blends saxophone and synth with reverb-drenched guitar and melodic basslines, Mocteau Twinsdelivers a reverent yet fresh homage to one of the most influential bands in alternative music. **Dream Crease** is Los Angeles-based solo artist Marina Aguerre (Teal Pop, Spaceface, Dumbo Gets Mad) seeking to mesh the world of fantasy with her eclectic sonic muses. Mixing analog and digital producing methods to create shimmering soundscapes over vocal incantations, colliding natural and unnatural sounds for an otherworldly experience.
