TreePeople and Living Earth Present: This October, bring a blanket, pour some tea, and bliss in as we sit atop Mulholland Drive and hear the lovely sounds of Dream Crease. The solo project of Marina Aguerre, Dream Crease has become a deeply environmental realm of fantasy and collaboration among friends rooted in field recordings and electronic synthesis. For this evening’s Friday Night Moonlight Hike we celebrate the release of her second record Blue Hour in the Living Room with a very special performance featuring many of the musicians who contributed to this otherworldly album. Using vocals, synths, and samples, the album seeks to capture the fleeting stretch of time between day and night known as blue hour: The transient and ethereal hour between sunset and night. Check-in begins around 6:30 pm, music shortly after 7 pm, and then we split into our hiking groups promptly at 8 pm. Parking is limited, and carpooling and ridesharing to the venue is highly encouraged.
