Eating, cooking, and feeding become embodied acts through which artists negotiate intimacy and spectacle, pleasure and precarity, care and consumption. Across performance, digital animation, music video, and documentary, these works consider food as a medium for cultural transmission and a metaphor for the Asian body - one that has been fetishized, surveilled, and consumed. This matinee screening features optional brunch boxes from [**Gu Grocery**](https://www.gu-grocery.us/), a mother-daughter-sister, Chinese Taiwanese family food project which offers high-quality pantry staples and handmade treats and is opening a neighborhood market in Chinatown.
