Norma Dream is a dream folk band based in Western Massachusetts and New York City. Built on the masterful banjo-playing and songwriting of Norma Jean Haynes, Norma Dream claims a deep knowledge of American roots music and an intuitive poetic grace. In full band arrangement, Norma Dream glimmers kaleidoscopic unto the fabric of folk tradition, fusing elements of free jazz, ambient, and theatrical storytelling. Their debut album Mercy Drops is out now on Worried Songs. https://worriedsongs.bandcamp.com/album/mercy-drops Krishna Jhaveri is an Indian sound artist, poet, and audio engineer based between Mumbai, India and Los Angeles, CA. His sonic journey has spanned progressive metal, electronic and experimental music, including explorations in field recording, mixing, mastering and radio art. His background includes a Law Degree(!) and an MFA in Electronic Music and Recording Media from the now defunct Mills College in Oakland, California. He has also toured the globe extensively as a bassist with the metal band Skyharbor, acclaimed Indian hip hop artist Divine, and legendary Indian rock stalwarts - Indus Creed. His soundworks include multi-channel site specific sound installations and hand built instruments for India Art Fair, Printed Matter NY, and Serendipity Arts Festival. June Youngblood is a songwriter with a unique voice.
