Vidiots, Los Angeles
**Writer:** John Hughes **Producers:** John Hughes, Lauren Shuler Donner Put on your dancing shoes and get ready for this all-time teen classic of high school romance, jealousy, resourcefulness, and classism. Molly Ringwald plays Andie, a creative outcast from the wrong side of the tracks who falls for a rich kid (80’s heartthrob Andrew McCarthy) and ends up causing rifts in both their worlds. This sweet and stylish romance features incredible performances from the entire cast including Annie Potts as the fashionista record store owner, Jon Cryer as the Otis Redding lip-syncing obsessed best friend, James Spader as the vilest of the upper crust, and of course Vidiots favorite Harry Dean Stanton as her single father. **Picks from the Video Store** Celebrate 100 Years of Harry Dean Stanton with some of these gems from his section: *Two Lane Blacktop, Straight Time, Red Dawn* **Accessibility Options**: Amplified Audio, please see the box office for devices.
