AKP Recordings and 2220 Arts present Ro(b)//ert Lundberg's Addendum, performing *by-passing-upon*, featuring Max Jaffe, Pauline Lay, Jon Natchez, Patrick Shiroishi & Booker Stardrum. With additional sets from mingjia chen & Gregg Kowalsky. Come celebrate the LA premiere of Ro's *by-passing-upon*, released as an album, artist book, and score with LA-based AKP Recordings last October. This show will present a brand new band of collaborators interpreting Ro's hybrid score of flows, pools, and clouds of notation. Ambient tones, driving rhythms and flowing, bubbling patterns will pair with a poetic text narrative and slowly shifting images -- all exploring how water flows with and against property lines and plans created by humans. mingjia will present their unique solo deconstructions of the "Great American Songbook", while Gregg will share his signature electronic sound worlds.
