**seeTrees** was formed in 2024 when hit songwriter, Drew Lawrence, formerly of the Americana band The Dales, connected with LA based drummer and producer, Luke Adams. Drawing inspiration from artists like Tom Petty, The War on Drugs, and Wilco, the project has a throwback feeling with a modern sense of renewal. Emerging from the vibrant New York City music scene, **Sputnik the Band** compellingly explores the American pop tradition. Fronted by the ethereal and dreamy voice of singer/songwriter Genie Morrow, and grounded by the versatile instrumental talents of Nigel Rawles and a rotating cast of New York’s best studio and live musicians, Sputnik the Band creates music that feels like a beloved mix tape left by a gone but never forgotten friend. **Jon DeRosa** is a singer-songwriter who has been releasing darkly sweet and sad orchestral pop music since 2011. While the signature in all of DeRosa's musical output lies in his distinctive knack for creating an atmosphere, under his own name his sound relies less on guitar effects and more on gentle orchestral arrangements, brass ensembles and DeRosa's unmistakable baritone. The sound is one that is both a tribute and an update to the orchestral pop sounds of the 50's and 60's, recalling echoes of Roy Orbison and The Walker Brothers, and even the quiet melancholy of Sinatra's gloriously impressionistic concept albums.
