_Staged Stories Live!_ features original work by writers from our Creative Aging Program ages 55 and up, developed in fiction, memoir, poetry, personal narrative and solo performance classes. Each piece began with a spark: a memory, an image, a question, perhaps a character, or a truth waiting patiently on the edge of the page. Through writing, listening, revision, and community, those sparks became stories. And in the presence of an audience, these stories become something else again: a living breathing performance. _Staged Stories Live!_ reminds us that creativity does not dim with age. It deepens. It gathers texture. It becomes more daring, more precise, more beautifully untamed.
