As Los Angeles embarks upon its summer season, bringing forth its many challenges, Summer ‘25 lends Art and the Gallery as a safe landing for reflection, feeling, bold initiatives, and connection. We believe in art’s ability to ground us and offer beauty and dialogue.Our summer presentation, featuring works from across the African Diaspora by Marcellina Akpojotor, Patrick Akpojotor, Sabrina Coleman-Pinheiro, Yoma Emore, Ameh Egwuh, Terrick Gutierrez, Ayobami Ogungbe, Paul Onditi, IyunOla Sanyaolu, Fiker Solomon, Sedireng Mothibasela, Tonia Nneji, is a re-curated selection. Each piece offers a unique insight into memory, resilience, identity, and joy. Together, these works form a dialogue across borders and experiences, hoping to incite our imagination for a shared and empowered future.
