**Susana Oliveros: Now More Than Ever** **May 18th - 25th, 2026** [**18th Street Arts Center**](https://18thstreet.org/venue/18th-street-arts-center/) **Atrium Gallery** 18th Street Arts Center is pleased to present Now More Than Ever, a changing installation by visiting artist Susana Oliveros, developed during her two-month residency in Santa Monica as part of the[ Call to Dream Residency Program](https://samfrancisfoundation.org/?utm_source=chatgpt.com). The residency is organized in partnership with the[ Sam Francis Foundation](https://samfrancisfoundation.org/?utm_source=chatgpt.com) and SOMA México. A changing display of objects by visiting artist Susana Oliveros, the exhibition brings together an arrangement of things handmade, found, and reused. A place to stay and watch things get older every minute or a quick look before going out, the installation unfolds through subtle shifts in material, light, and attention over the course of the residency. On one side, Santa Monica’s live image and on the other, its sunshine everyday, creating a quiet meditation on repetition, presence, and the passing of time. Now More Than Ever invites visitors to slow down and observe the evolving relationships between objects, space, and daily life. Through accumulation, reuse, and ongoing change, the work creates a temporary environment shaped equally by duration and encounter. **About the Artist** [Susana Oliveros](https://18thstreet.org/artists/susana-oliveros-amayaapril-may-2026/) is an artist whose practice engages installation, found materials, and everyday gestures to explore memory, temporality, and spatial relationships. Her work often creates environments that encourage sustained observation and intimate encounters with ordinary objects and shifting conditions. **Acknowledgments** This residency and exhibition are presented through the Call to Dream Residency Program, organized by[ 18th Street Arts Center](https://18thstreet.org/?utm_source=chatgpt.com) in partnership with the Sam Francis Foundation and SOMA México.
