Vidiots is thrilled to welcome one of the greatest voices of American Independent Cinema, the legendary **Gus Van Sant **for the inaugural installment of our new series **Tales from the Video Store**, followed by a special preview screening of his newest film ***Dead Man’s Wire***. **Tales from the Video Store**, a new series presented by L.A.’s iconic Vidiots Foundation, celebrates and explores the film, television, and media that’s shaped the lives and careers of some of our greatest living artists. Structured as an intimate and casual conversation and clips series with an artist, this program will create a unique opportunity for artists to share with a captive audience of like-minded film lovers the stories of their creative evolution. Akin to browsing the video store with a favorite filmmaker, actor, or artist this series will be a surprising, revealing and inspiring dive into the minds of our favorite storytellers, and a reminder of the pivotal role that film plays in each of our lives, at a time when we need it most.
