Drawing from jazz tradition, early American popular music, and roots-based styles, his playing favors clarity, feel, and melodic development. For three years, Hank toured nationally and internationally as a pianist, organist, and vocalist with Pokey LaFarge, appearing at major venues and festivals worldwide. In 2026, he turned his attention back to Los Angeles, focusing on his solo project HonkAnonymous while remaining an active collaborator across the city’s music scene. Hank performs regularly in small-group jazz settings, leads an Oscar Peterson–influenced trio at Checker Hall on Monday nights, and is a sought-after pianist for private events and curated performances.
