Evil jumpsuit-wearing spacemen from the Black Hole are plotting to flatten Tokyo and build their own utopian city. Aided by deranged scientist Dr. Mafune, shunned for his strange experiments on sea life, the aliens unleash a rebuilt Mechagodzilla (this IS a direct sequel to the first Mechagodzilla jam) and the monster Titanosaurus (which looks like an aquatic Godzilla whose special attack is causing windstorms with his fins) to do their evil bidding. What better revenge is there for a dismissed scientist than to take control of giant monsters and use them for ultimate destruction? Eventually, Godzilla surfaces to defend his homeland, and that’s when the Earth-shattering destruction begins. Note #1: This is the only Godzilla movie where he actually catches on fire. Note #2: Mechagodzilla can fight without his head! What more could you ask for?
