Gold—Diggers, Los Angeles

The Heeters: Soul, R&B and Funk from the Bay Area, California. Deep grooves, tight three-part harmonies, and songs that will uplift your spirit. The Heeters is comprised of Tom Quell (vocals/guitar), drummer Sheldon Alexander, and a couple members of The California Honeydrops (Lorenzo Loera on keys and Miles Blackwell on bass). Lorenzo and Tom co-write the songs, which have that classic soul sound & those catchy hooks--with a personality that makes them still unique and relevant within the world of modern music.” The Channeltone Horns: Born and raised in the East Bay, The Channeltone Horns are a horn trio - Julian Johnson (trumpet), Camille Kerani (tenor sax), and Steven Schlosberg (trombone) — currently undergraduates in UCLA’s global jazz studies program. What began as a one-off backing gig for Thee Sacred Souls at Mill Valley has grown into a full tour role, a European tour, a BBC Radio 6 session, and their upcoming performance at Coachella. Berel: Berel Alexander is a Los Angeles–based songwriter and vocalist offering a nostalgic take on R&B and soul. With a creamy falsetto and rich tone, he blends old-school influences with contemporary depth, drawing comparisons to JMSN, Xavier Omär, and Tom Misch. Supported by collaborators from the Los Angeles scene and Bay Area label Text Me Records, Berel crafts a smooth, soulful sound infused with jazz, indie folk, and timeless romance.
