The story follows four young nurses as they navigate their careers and love lives. One falls in love with a terminally ill patient. A second woman is impregnated by a drugged biker. The third nurse's career is jeopardized when she makes a grave miscalculation. And the fourth is forced to leave the unit when her revolutionary boyfriend commits an unspeakable act.
