This is Condor’s world. Not yours. His beloved America is in a three-way struggle with China and Russia for global political power. His country is mired in a long and unpopular war. Political protests fill the streets and terrorism plagues the world. Whistleblowers leak secrets, sometimes to serve their conscience, sometimes to serve invisible masters. He’s got a good job working as a data analyst for the CIA, but yearns for a more fulfilling life. He has someone special, though they’re not totally committed. Then one rainy day, he leaves the office to get lunch for his co-workers, comes back, and finds they’ve all been assassinated. For three days, almost everyone he trusts tries to kill him. It’s his life, not yours. And in 1975, director Sydney Pollack and actors Robert Redford, Faye Dunaway, Max Von Sydow, and Cliff Robertson turned James Grady’s novel *Six Days of the Condor* into the iconic movie THREE DAYS OF THE CONDOR, picked by Pulitzer Prize-winning *Washington Post* movie critic Stephen Hunter as the film most emblematic of the 1970s.
