### **ABOUT THE EVENT:** In addition to presenting a complete 45-film retrospective of Frederick Wiseman’s work, the American Cinematheque had the honor of hosting a virtual Q&A with the acclaimed filmmaker for TITICUT FOLLIES as part of the inaugural edition of ‘This Is Not a Fiction’ in 2024. In his memory, we are honored to present this year’s screening followed by an archival Q&A with Frederick Wiseman. ### **ABOUT THE FILM:** The film is a stark and graphic portrayal of the conditions that existed at the State Prison for the Criminally Insane at Bridgewater, Massachusetts.
