Under the threat of demolition, a decaying Midwestern farmhouse and its sole keeper, 91-year old Lois Constable, awaken a spirit from the past. The centerpiece of Ross Constable’s “Midwest Trilogy,” *Turbine Angel* weaves nearly 70 years of footage together to create a portrait of decaying family farms in the American Midwest. Incorporating the director’s real family, *Turbine Angel* lives somewhere between a fictional ghost story and sociopolitical documentary.
