Join us on Friday, January 2nd, where some of LA's finest in experimental music will collide to push and pull us straight into the new year. This special double bill features **Two Point**, where vocalist **Sharada Shashidhar** and multi-instrumentalist **Caleb Buchanan** weave together jazz, ambient, and electronic textures for deep listening. While their debut Bandcamp album, Duo Sessions (part 1), highlights their free, improvised approach, paired with a maverick use of live effect pedals, their compositional depth shines in through-composed songs, like “Ghostly”, their contribution to **Leaving Records**’ benefit compilation, Staying: Leaving Records Aid to Artists Impacted by The Los Angeles Wildfires. Vocalist Sharada Shashidhar brings a globally informed perspective to the project, having trained in traditional Indian music prior to studying jazz at the New School, and now has emerged as one of the most genre-diverse vocalists in the Los Angeles music scene. Sharing the stage is **Human Error Club** (featuring Diego Gaeta, Jesse Justice, and Mekala Session), an inventive, bass-less trio delivering an electrifying blend of restless harmonic imagination with beat-driven backbone. Two keyboardists and a drummer, longtime musician friends hailing from different corners of Los Angeles’ vast geography. They assembled in 2019 as a hotfix to a recurring dilemma: bassists are busy, often unavailable.
