***Up-Shift*** *Musicians and brothers Aaron Walker-Loud and Avi Loud join forces to bring a unique performance to the dance floor. Their musical journeys formed decades apart but have intertwined more intently through the breaking and Hip-Hop scenes in the Pacific Northwest. With their years of solo and collaborative work on stages and in studios, their combined format of deejaying and live percussion presents a vibrant cross-section of dance music that effortlessly fuses their love of movement styles across the last several decades.* :: **Aaron Walker-Loud** is the founder and director of Big World Breaks, a production company built for performance, studio and education in 2004. Aaron began working with families in 1999, co-founded 50 Next: Seattle Hip-Hop Worldwide (est. 2012), founded the award-winning intergenerational BWB Drumline (est. 2015) and co-curated The Legacy of Seattle Hip-Hop exhibit at MOHAI, which won the ‘2016 American Association of State and Local History Leadership in History Award.’ Big World Breaks has shared stages with Janelle Monáe, Kool DJ Red Alert, Digable Planets, Reggie Watts, DJ Qbert, Macklemore, B.o.B., Saul Williams and many more. BWB has also provided stage and studio support for artists such as: Grammy Nominated vocalists Wayna and Rocky Dawuni, Sy Smith, Zo!, Kassa Overall, Dynamq, Xperience, Dr. Julian Priester, Anne Drummond, Jimmy James, Jumaane Smith, Khingz, Massive Monkees, Pamela Yasutake, Owuor Arunga, Black Stax, Riley Mulherkar, Elizabeth Pupo-Walker, Jennifer Johns, Circle of Fire / Soul Shifters, Gabriel Teodros and the Blue Scholars. **Avi Loud** is a multi-disciplinary artist born and raised in Seattle. Exposure to dance music at an early age by way of breakdancing heavily influenced his interests in pursuing music in the future. Since he began deejaying in 2015, Avi has been adamant about spotlighting underground music and connecting styles with a sonic throughline that keeps the relationship between sound and movement at the forefront. Since moving to LA during the pandemic, he has independently produced several EPs and two full-length albums, with notable releases with the Juke Bounce Werk, Alpha Pup, Salon Recordings, Gyration Station & Soul Swap labels. Avi has recorded mixes for Rinse FM, The Lot Radio, Dublab, NTS & Worldwide FM. More recently, he started his own monthly show Heck World Radio on LA’s local station KChung Radio, broadcasting monthly from downtown LA. **Eddie Jr.** is a record producer, music supervisor, sound designer, and DJ known for his genre-blending sets and acclaimed remix work for artists including Beyoncé, Frank Ocean, and Miguel. For the past eight years, he's hosted Mixed Fruit on London’s NTS Radio, where his wide-ranging taste—spanning indie, funk, deep disco, latin, new wave, and ’90s R&B/hip-hop has cultivated a loyal global audience. **99% Angel** is an LA-based DJ from the San Fernando Valley, known for her mix of disco, funk, house, and groovy rhythms. She curates and hosts Heaven Sent, a monthly Sunday party at General Lee’s dedicated to high-energy dance music.
