For the FIRST time since the famed Bolshoi Theatre Violin Ensemble toured America in the 1960s, Angelenos will hear the art of 14 violin virtuosi sound as ONE in a classical-romantic-pop program “Songs of Love & Life” (“Canzoni d'amore e di vita”). In a tribute to the great violin ensemble, showcasing unison and virtuosity –– qualities for which iPalpiti, under Schmieder’s direction, has long been praised - iPalpiti’s virtuoso violinists will play selections of beloved vignettes by great composers. Program will conclude with a Salute to America’s 250th!
