The Wallis, Beverly Hills

For the FIRST time since the famed Bolshoi Theatre Violin Ensemble toured America in the 1960s, the art of 14 violin virtuosi sounding as ONE will be heard live again. In a classical-romantic-pop program “Canzoni d'amore e di vita” (“Songs of Love & Life”), _iPalpiti_’s virtuoso violinists will play beloved vignettes by great composers, _showcasing unison and virtuosity_ – qualities for which _iPalpiti_, under Schmieder’s direction, has long been praised. Concert will conclude with a Salute to America’s 250th!   29th season of “world-class” iPalpiti Festival of International Laureates brings another great week in summer classical cultural life of Los Angeles! Prize-winning laureates from 18 Countries – illustrious alumni and new discoveries – arrive for a week’s residence in Beverly Hills, July 20 – 26, from Belarus, Ireland, Lithuania, China, Korea, Japan, Ecuador, Norway, Switzerland, Uzbekistan, Spain, Venezuela, Japan, Poland, Russia, Azerbaijan, Estonia and the USA. The iPalpiti Festival “has become one of the highlights – in some years, the highlight – of the summer here.” —R. Ginell, American Record Guide iPalpiti \[ee-PAHL-pit-tee\] is Italian for the “heartbeat.”
