Vidiots, Los Angeles
**Screenwriters**: Wim Wenders, Peter Handke **Producers**: Wim Wenders, Anatole Dauman Like an ethereal dream, Wim Wenders’ poetic masterpiece is both a visual marvel and a universal story of the transformative power of love, even for the immortal. Two angels shift through the foggy streets of Berlin, devoid of attachment to the mortals they serve, until one angel falls in love with a trapeze artist and begins to feel a longing for corporeality and human connection. With sublime cinematography by Henri Alekan, a musical soundtrack that includes Nick Cave, and an (other)worldly Peter Falk playing himself, this gorgeous film is an unparalleled achievement in cinema. **Picks from the Video Store** There’s never a bad time for a Peter Falk binge! *The In-Laws, Mikey and Nicky, Columbo* (all of it!) **Accessibility Options**: Open Captions, Amplified Audio, please see the box office for devices.
